Llangwm Rugby Club - Autumn 2006

Senior Rugby

The new season has kicked off for new captain Hamish Nichols and his team. The 1st match resulted in a hard fought win over visitors Furnace United. The team ran in four tries playing the brand of running rugby encouraged by coach Phil Sutton and optimism is high at the club for a good season.
After the disappointing start to last season, the 1st XV managed to put together some good performances over the season and finished in a very respectable mid table position. It is hoped that the foundations are in place to do better this year and push for promotion.

Last season finished with a with a well attended dinner and presentation night at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel with guest speaker Bill Carne keeping all entertained.
