Llangwm Rugby Club
The Llangwm R.F.C is a well established and thriving club with rugby having been played in the village since 1885. The club is affiliated to the Welsh Rugby Union having been accepted as a member in the 1950's.
The club has an extremely proud and renowned history with previous teams competing successfully in the West of Llanelli League and dominating Pembrokeshire rugby in the 1950's and 1960's. Representative honours at the club have gone to Maurice Palmer - Welsh Schools, John Brock - Welsh Youth and more recently Andrew George - Welsh Schools. The club has also had the honour of Osmonde John, O.B.E. becoming president of the W.R.U. in 1981-82.
The club currently has a 1st XV competing in the national league, division 5 West, a Youth XV, competing in the Pembrokeshire league and an extremely popular and thriving junior/mini section. The 1st XV and Youth XV play their matches on Saturdays throughout the season, while the junior XV play on Sunday mornings. Training for boys and girls aged 6 and upwards is provided by qualified coaches. The club is always looking for additional players, coaches, and others to help and become involved in the life of the Club. It is an amenity well used and enjoyed by the greater community.

SOCIAL CLUB
For those who do not participate directly in sport. Social membership is also offered at the clubhouse. Members can enjoy the very best of sport on wide screen TV, or come along to events
organized at the club. During last year's village festival the Clubhouse played host to a very successful 'Comedy Night', and other events are put on to benefit members. As a member you can also use the Clubhouse for your own event or party or just relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Clubhouse with its well stocked bar offering well kept Ales and Lagers.

Llangwm Cricket Club
Cricket started in Llangwm in the late 1940s on various fields in Freystrop and North Nash before finding a permanent site in the village itself in the 1950s. It is now played at Pill Parks with the season running from 1st May until 31st August each year.
County records show Senior County Caps were awarded to Barry Jones (1968), David Bowen (1977) and Martin Charles (1982). Bert Jones and Maurice Palmer were awarded their County Youth caps in 1958 and were followed by W.J. Griffiths (1968), Ian Jacob (1969), George Thomas (1993), Darren John (1994), William Beresford (2001), Chris Inward (2004), Andrew Brock (2006) and Stephen Inward (2009). Stephen also represented Wales at all age groups, the West of England region and in 2008 gained a place in the England u16 team. He is currently with the Glamorgan Academy and has already played for Glamorgan 2nds.
Llangwm won the Harrison-Allen Bowl in 1966, 1968, 1972, 1977 and 1993 and appeared in the final on no less than four other occasions. We won the Ormond Youth Cup in 2000 and have appeared in four other finals.
Llangwm's 1st X1 currently plays in Division 1 of the Pembrokeshire Cricket League with the 2nd X1 playing in Division 4 with the 3rd XI in Division 5. The Ladies X1 (Tuesdays) and the Juniors (Mondays & Wednesdays) play during the week. Juniors training is held on Thursdays between 6.00 and 7.30pm.

Llangwm Rowing Club
The Llangwm Rowing club tends to meet at Black Tar Beach on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Sunday mornings. There are also frequent rows from other 'ports' around the Pembrokeshire coastline.
The club currently owns 4 Celtic Longboats and enjoys a membership of around 70. Juniors and disabled persons can be accommodated and are always welcome. The Club has coaches who are fully qualified in the instruction of rowing and it is affiliated to the Welsh Sea Rowing Association. The club also enjoys an active social scene.
